Essentials for a Great Summer Movie Night
Having fun in the sun here in Hopkinton, MA is one of the best ways to spend your free time this summer, but sometimes you just need to stay in the apartment here at Woodview at Legacy Farms and take a break from the business of the season. Do so while still celebrating this time of year by hosting a movie night at your apartment! Try these suggestions and put these films on your to-watch list for a fulfilling one.
Provide ample seating for the people you’ve invited to your movie night. Remember that especially if you’re having any sort of movie marathon, people will not only need to fit in your apartment but also have space to spread out and relax without feeling cramped. Use additional seating such as ottomans, bean bags, kitchen chairs, blankets, and cushions. Leave space for clear walkways and access to exits, as well!
The right refreshments can really complete a movie night. Include staples that most people generally enjoy, like popcorn, chips, and cookies. You can also ask your guests to bring their favorites so everyone has something they love! If you want to try to make something special, we suggest this salted peanut butter caramel corn with bacon or this Muddy Buddy Popcorn.
It’s always a safe bet while considering the lineup for what you’ll be watching to include options for something not too controversial, scary, or crude for the people who will be attending your movie night. Just adapt your selection to include a few options for the people who might have strong preferences and decide on a movie together to find something everyone can enjoy.
Of course, we have suggestions, too! We think The Sandlot, Top Gun, National Treasure, Jaws, All The President’s Men, Remember the Titans, Independence Day, and A League of Their Own are all perfect for the summertime or the Fourth of July.
